Corporate Responsibility

Corporate Responsibility

To us, corporate responsibility isn’t about a final destination; it’s about an ongoing journey. Connected Ventures seeks to combine the resources of our company with the energy of our people to be a positive force in the communities where we live and conduct business. We are dedicated to those individuals whose talents and commitment make our communities the best they can be.

Currently our philanthropic efforts have been focused on supporting medical research and awareness for Melanoma Cancer through the The Brenda MacDonald Melanoma Research Foundation in conjunction with DC Wings of Hope

DC Wings of Hope

Melanoma strikes men and women of all ages, races and skin types.

Melanoma is not only the most serious type of skin cancer, it’s the fastest growing. Despite the magnitude of the disease, treatment options have remained limited for decades and research has been woefully underfunded.  The DC Wings of Hope mission is to support the medical research for finding effective treatments and eventually a cure for melanoma as well as to educate patients and physicians about the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of melanoma while advocating for the melanoma community to raise awareness of this disease and the need for a cure.

The Brenda MacDonald Melanoma Research Foundation

The Brenda MacDonald Melanoma Research Foundation was established in May 2005 by her husband, Chad MacDonald, and his three sons, Zachary, Matthew and Kyle

Over the years, since our founding, we have raised millions of dollars through various events, fundraisers and partners. Proceeds have been and will continue to be used to increase awareness through its association with organizations such as The Melanoma Research Foundation in addition to grants awarded to dedicated research scientists to help find a cure for Melanoma.
