Kyle MacDonald

Kyle MacDonald is the Controller at Connected Ventures, where he oversees accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, and financial planning across the firm’s portfolio of operating companies and investments. He works closely with executive leadership to provide financial insight and strategic analysis that support acquisitions, capital allocation, operational performance, and long-term growth.

Kyle earned his accounting degree from Penn State University and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Throughout his career, he has developed expertise in corporate accounting, financial reporting, fund accounting, financial analysis, investment operations, and complex organizational structures. Prior to joining Connected Ventures, he worked alongside several of the world’s leading private equity and investment banking firms, supporting portfolio companies, investment funds, and sophisticated reporting environments.

Known for combining analytical precision with an entrepreneurial mindset, Kyle specializes in developing scalable accounting and finance processes, strengthening internal controls, and improving operational efficiency. His experience across accounting, finance, operations, and investments enables him to support the continued growth and long-term success of Connected Ventures.
