Sheldon has over 25 years of risk, insurance, and employment practice program and platform development for thousands of companies in a variety of industry sectors. Utilizing innovative risk management solutions, Sheldon has allowed his clients and partners, to realize significant new revenue streams, a balanced cost of risk and measurable returns to bottom line.
Sheldon has provided strategic analysis and program deployment for many diverse client groups, including Fortune 500’s (Sunoco, LaFarge, NAPA, Black&Decker, Total Petroleum etc), public entity risk, and the PEO/ASO sector. The end results have been insurance and risk solutions/alternatives to better address financial stress, hard-market pressures and to create viable new solutions that transitioned statutory insurances from a cost burden to a revenue driver
Sheldon has been involved in leadership capacities with various associations and has authored coursework for national programs, lectured for industry seminars, and contributed articles for association journals (SHRM, NAPEO and PRIMA).
In addition, Sheldon has been active in the risk management industry, earning the Associate in Risk Management designation (ARM), serving on the Risk and Insurance Management Society’s (RIMS) Governance Committee, and receiving a Property and Casualty agent’s license for the State of Maryland. Sheldon also appeared on several occasions as a panel guest on Maryland Public TV advocating business interests.
